Character Dancing
Character Dancing is a fun lively class that introduces the students to national and folk dances including Italian, Spanish, Hungarian, Russian and Polish. This theatrical style of dance teaches musicality, rhythm, mime and use of props such as tambourines and castanets.

This class is a fundamental extension to any students' ballet training as character dancing is included in many Classical Ballet productions such as Swan Lake, The Nutcracker and Don Quixote. Students are also able to participate in exams through bbodance's National Freestyle Award Examinations.

Character Dancing is available to students working in Grade 2 Ballet.
